Belmark, a printer of pressure sensitive labels and packaging, has installed an HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press to benefit from higher digital productivity and new production possibilities for narrow web printing applications.

This latest investment in HP Indigo technology puts Belmark in a position to offer the full range of HP digital printing options for labels. The De Pere, WI-based Belmark will be operating the HP Indigo 8000 in addition to its existing HP Indigo WS6800 digital presses and HP Indigo 20000 digital press.

“In our 35 years in business, our commitment to investing in progressive technology has paid off for both our business and our customers,” says Karl Schmidt, president of Belmark. “We are pleased to offer a new solution that expands innovative digital production possibilities.”

The HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press prints at double the speed of an HP Indigo WS6800 press at up to 262 linear fpm.

With over 650 employees Belmark serves a variety of industries, including food and personal care products, while maintaining lean manufacturing practices.
